About these terms
These Terms and Conditions are effective from 9 October 2026. They form an agreement between you and Leviro, established in Lithuania, when you download, install, access, test, or use Focus Span. Focus Span means the native applications, local helper components, website, private online preview, documentation, and prerelease versions we provide.
If you do not agree, do not use Focus Span. If you use it for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organisation. You must be old enough to enter into this agreement under applicable law.
Development and prerelease access
Focus Span is in development. Public availability, platforms, features, pricing, and release dates may change before launch. A prerelease version may be incomplete, contain errors, stop working, lose compatibility, or change without the stability of a finished product. Do not rely on it for essential, safety-critical, medical, legal, financial, or emergency functions.
Use test access only for evaluation and ordinary personal use. Keep access links, builds, and invitations private unless we allow sharing. Report significant faults when practical, and do not publish information we clearly identify as confidential. A prerelease feature may never reach public release.
Permission to use Focus Span
Subject to these terms and applicable app store rules, we give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Focus Span on devices you own or control for lawful personal or internal business use. Ownership remains with us and our licensors.
You may not sell, rent, sublicense, distribute, reverse engineer, decompile, or modify Focus Span except where law expressly permits it. You may not remove ownership notices, interfere with another person or system, evade access controls, introduce malicious code, or use our branding to imply endorsement. Open-source components remain subject to their own licences.
Your plans and device permissions
You choose what Focus Span limits, when a plan runs, and which permissions to grant. Android blocking may depend on Accessibility or other device settings. macOS website blocking may depend on a local helper and an administrator-approved system change. Revoking a permission may stop related features.
Focus Span is a self-management tool for the person controlling the device. Do not use it for covert monitoring, surveillance, unauthorised control, or restricting another person without their informed permission or other lawful authority. Keep essential apps, websites, contacts, and emergency access available. Check a plan before activating it and understand how Strict mode affects changes during an active plan.
Blocking and Strict mode limits
Focus Span is designed to add useful friction between an intention and a distraction. It does not provide a security boundary, parental-control guarantee, or tamper-proof lock. Strict mode may make an active plan harder to change, but local workarounds, permission changes, uninstalling, system recovery, another account, or other technical methods may bypass it. We do not guarantee that every app, website, domain, browser path, notification, or embedded view will be blocked.
Do not configure Focus Span in a way that prevents you from reaching emergency services, authentication tools, work or school systems, medical information, travel documents, or other essential resources. You remain responsible for the consequences of the rules and schedules you create.
Compatibility and availability
Focus Span depends on operating-system features and browser behaviour. Platform, browser, device, or security updates may limit or disable a feature until we can adapt it, and some combinations of device, system version, browser, permissions, or administrator policy may not be supported.
We may improve, replace, suspend, or discontinue features for technical, legal, security, or product reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, universal compatibility, or correction of every fault. Maintain a supported device, install appropriate updates, and keep any backups you need.
No health or productivity promise
Focus Span may help you create boundaries around selected apps and websites, but results vary. It is not medical, psychological, therapeutic, educational, employment, or professional advice. We do not promise improved health, wellbeing, sleep, attention, grades, work performance, productivity, relationships, or a particular amount of time saved. If screen use is causing serious distress or harm, seek appropriate professional support rather than relying on Focus Span alone.
Local data and backups
The native Android and macOS apps work without an account, developer analytics, or developer-operated cloud sync. Supported settings, plans, and usage information stay locally on each device, and devices do not automatically sync. You are responsible for available backup and restore processes. Uninstalling, clearing data, resetting a device, changing permissions, or an incompatible update may remove data or affect operation.
On macOS, a local helper or system configuration may remain after the main app is removed until you remove it using the provided process or system tools. Our Privacy Policy explains data handling and applies alongside these terms.
Operating-system, user or organization backups are separate from a Focus Span cloud service. Trashing the macOS app can also retain its saved settings; follow the removal instructions or contact support@focusspan.app for help.
Website and private online preview
The marketing website and invitation-only online preview are separate from the offline native apps. The website host processes network request information needed to deliver pages. The private preview may use Google sign-in and Firebase to authenticate approved testers and operate the preview. Its simulated activity does not block a native device or sync with native apps.
Google, Firebase, app stores, browsers, and other third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices. Subject to mandatory law, we are not responsible for their services, content, account decisions, or outages.
Apple App Store terms
For Focus Span obtained through Apple's App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless the product page states that a custom agreement applies. We do not currently configure a custom App Store licence. The standard agreement is at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.
If that agreement and these terms conflict on a licence issue, Apple's agreement prevails for the App Store application. Apple is not responsible for our support obligations except as that agreement or mandatory law provides. App Store usage rules also apply.
Purchases, renewals, cancellation, and refunds
Focus Span does not currently confirm public pricing or paid plans. If we later offer a paid download, subscription, trial, renewal, or in-app purchase, the relevant store page and purchase screen will show the price, billing period, trial terms, renewal terms, taxes where applicable, and how to cancel before you confirm the purchase. The app store processes store purchases under its own billing terms.
Manage or cancel a store subscription through your store account. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Refund eligibility is determined by mandatory consumer law and the applicable store policy; these terms do not remove those rights. Where European Union law gives a withdrawal right for digital content or services, it can end early only when the applicable statutory conditions are met, including any required prior express consent and acknowledgement. Different conditions apply to digital content and services. Merely accepting these terms does not waive that right. Legal conformity guarantees and remedies also remain available.
Intellectual property and feedback
Focus Span, its original software, visual design, text, trademarks, and other materials are owned by Leviro or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.
If you voluntarily send feedback, suggestions, or fault reports, you allow us to use them without payment or an obligation to implement them. This permission does not transfer ownership of your pre-existing material or personal data. Do not send content that you lack the right to share.
Consumer guarantees and responsibility
Nothing in these terms excludes a guarantee, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. This includes liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct where protected by law, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where it cannot be limited.
Subject to mandatory rights, Focus Span is provided with reasonable care but without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, fit for every purpose, or prevent every attempt to reach restricted content. Where law allows, neither party is responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss. Any limitation applies only where fair, proportionate, and lawful.
Ending use
You may stop using Focus Span and uninstall it at any time, while managing any future purchase or subscription separately through the relevant store. The native apps require no Focus Span account, so there may be no account to close. We cannot remotely delete data stored only on your device.
We may end or suspend a licence for a material breach, misuse, or if continued provision becomes unlawful or technically impractical. Where reasonable, we will give notice and an opportunity to correct a breach. Licence restrictions, intellectual property, accrued payment obligations, and lawful limits of responsibility survive termination.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when Focus Span, store requirements, or applicable law changes. We will identify the new effective date and provide reasonable notice of a substantial change through the website, the app, the relevant store listing, or another appropriate channel. Changes apply prospectively. They do not retroactively alter completed purchases or remove rights that already arose under mandatory law. If you do not accept updated terms, you may stop using the affected version.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania, without applying rules that would defeat mandatory consumer protection. If you are a consumer, you also keep the mandatory rights given by the law of your country or region of residence, and you may bring a claim in any local court available to you under that law. Before starting formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us so we can try to resolve the issue, but doing so does not shorten a legal deadline or restrict your right to seek a remedy.
