Current availability
Focus Span is not publicly released yet. There is no confirmed launch date or pricing. The interactive web demo is available only to invited Google accounts, and it does not block any apps or websites.
Android and macOS are different
Both platforms support app and domain blocking, recurring profiles, Strict mode, and focus tools. Android also offers usage budgets, keyword rules, and local usage reports. These Android features are not offered on macOS.
Check the device setup
Android blocking depends on the permissions and device settings explained during setup. Website blocking supports specific browsers, and browser updates may affect compatibility. On macOS, domain blocking requires the local helper and an explicit administrator prompt.
A deliberate commitment
Try a Normal profile before committing to Strict. Strict makes changing an active plan harder; it is not tamper-proof. Choose a short schedule you understand and keep any essential apps accessible.
