An evening boundary can be as simple as choosing when the feed can wait. It doesn’t need to cover every app or every hour.
Begin with what you want to make room for
Think about the evening you actually want: a conversation, a book, a little music, or time with nothing scheduled. Choose a boundary that leaves room for that.
Match the schedule to your day
Focus Span profiles can use weekly schedules, including overnight windows. Start with hours that make sense for your routine and the apps that tend to fill them.
Keep essential apps outside that list. A good first plan is one you can explain to yourself in a sentence.
A pause is an option, too
Mindful mode adds a short pause before opening selected apps. It gives you a moment to decide on purpose. It applies to apps, not to individual websites.
If you want website boundaries, use a blocking profile instead.
Adjust with care
A Normal profile can be paused. Strict is a firmer commitment while active, so choose it deliberately after you’ve tried your schedule.
Your evening doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. Leave room for what fits yours.
